Getting started

Installation

Get Arshas running on macOS, Windows, or Linux in under two minutes.

Arshas ships as a native desktop application for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Downloads are available from your account dashboard — create a free account and you can grab the installer for every platform you use.

Get the installer

Sign in at arshas.dev and open your dashboard. Pick the build for your platform: a universal .dmg for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), an .exe installer for Windows 10 and later, or .deb, .rpm, and AppImage packages for Linux.

On macOS, drag Arshas into your Applications folder and launch it. On first run, macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet — this is expected for any new application.

Sign in and activate

When Arshas opens for the first time it asks you to sign in with the same account you used to download it. Signing in syncs your settings across machines and starts your free 14-day Pro trial — no credit card required.

That’s it. The editor is ready to use immediately, and the agent activates as soon as a project folder is open.

System requirements

Arshas is light. Any machine from the last six or so years runs it comfortably: 8 GB of RAM is recommended for large monorepos, and around 500 MB of disk space is needed for the app plus the local index. The AI features require an internet connection; the editor itself works fully offline.
