Themes

Any VS Code color theme works in Arshas unchanged — install it from the Extensions view and select it with ⌘K ⌘T. If you migrated from VS Code, your active theme came with you.

Arshas ships with two original themes tuned for the AI surfaces: Arshas Dark, a deep violet-tinted dark theme, and Arshas Light. Both are designed so ghost predictions, inline diffs, and agent highlights remain legible without shouting over your syntax highlighting.

AI-specific colors — prediction ghost text, accepted-hunk flashes, agent activity markers — are themeable independently under workbench.colorCustomizations, so third-party themes can be fine-tuned in seconds.

Theme choice syncs with your account like any other setting. Set it once and every machine you sign into follows, including per-OS overrides if you prefer light on the laptop and dark at the desk.
