Zero data retention

Contractual ZDR for enterprises: your code never persists anywhere.

Zero data retention (ZDR) is the strongest privacy posture Arshas offers, available on Enterprise plans. It extends privacy mode with a contractual guarantee: no request payload containing your code is ever written to disk on our infrastructure or our model providers’.

How ZDR differs from privacy mode

Privacy mode is a product guarantee enforced in software; ZDR adds the legal and infrastructure layer. Requests from ZDR workspaces are routed through a dedicated no-logging pipeline, model providers are bound to zero-retention terms for that traffic, and the guarantee is covered by your DPA.

Even transient operational logs exclude code content for ZDR traffic — request metadata is limited to timing, token counts, and error codes.

Enabling ZDR

ZDR is enabled per workspace by our team as part of Enterprise onboarding, alongside your DPA and, where required, region pinning for the codebase index. Contact sales from the pricing page to start the process; most workspaces are fully enabled within a few business days.
